Democracy and the State in Contemporary Latin America: The Political Dimensions of Inequality (Part I Lecture).
With Professor Marcelo Cavarozzi, a professor of Political Science at the Universidad Nacional de San Martin, Argentina. He received his Ph.D. in political science from the University of California at Berkeley. He has taught at universities throughout Latin America, and has been a Visiting Professor at Georgetown, Yale, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Cavarozzi is an internationally recognized scholar on themes of party systems and democratization in Latin America; he is the author of Autoritarismo y democracia, 1955-1996, among other works.
