Screening of film detailing US government’s abuse of Native Americans, Wednesday 7pm

Please come out the next Black Male Initiative Program’s Movie Night on Wednesday September 19th at 7 PM. The featured film will be The Canary Effect. This film takes an in depth look at the devastating effect that US policies have had on the indigenous people of America, as well as the genocidal practices of the US government and their continuing affects on present day Indian country. Immediately following the film there will be a talk-back session led by Thunder Williams and Penny Gamble-Williams. Click here for more info.
This event will take place at the Nyumburu Cultural Center on the campus on the University of Maryland, College Park.
