Workers around the world and at our very own campus are consistently being abused by their managers and the system at large. Our campus administration has done an especially terrible job at improving the working situations for many hourly employees, so students on campus are working to hold them accountable and make things better.
Come hear from an Alta Gracia rep, members of Feminism Without Borders and other students involved in the Justice at Maryland coalition about the rights of workers and how that is relevant to the University of Maryland this Thursday at 6! Following their comments, we’ll have an open discussion about why this is so important to our lives as students and to the community at large. Hosted by Community Roots.
