We are inviting those who self-identify as Latina/o LGBTQ people to join us for a casual and private conversation about the needs of LGBTQ Latina/o people on campus, to meet others who identify with these communities/issues, and to just come by and have fun. It’s a safe space, and a great opportunity to meet others. Friends of the community may also join, but should be aware that the content of the discussion is around concerns, support, and empowerment for LGBTQ Latina/o people rather than around ally development. In other words, it’s not an educational workshop or an “event” per se; it’s a discussion and space for LGBTQ Latina/o communities and those who feel close to the community. Please read the above description before attending. Thanks!
When: Thursday, October 27th, 3:30pm-5pm
Where: 1132 Stamp Student Union (small conference room across from MICA office)
